How do I open the Virtual Meeting room?

Buyers:

  • Visit https://www.mybusinessmatches.com/
  • Login with email and password (provided in confirmation email)
  • Click on “Schedules” (on the top bar)
  • Find the Meeting you are attending and click “Virtual Meeting”
  • A small window will pop up to allow you to enter the room. Once the “Virtual Meeting” button has turned bright green, this indicates the Virtual Meeting Room is ready and you can enter the room by clicking the button.

  • Note: You will not be able to open the virtual meeting room until the Buyer has opened it.

The Virtual Meeting room is open. Now what do I do?

  • Allow the pop up windows to open so you can approve the following:
  • Adobe Flash Player Settings
  • Display- be sure the box is checked off to enable hardware acceleration
  • Microphone- be sure the record volume is High.
  • Camera- choose which camera you’ll be using for the meeting.
  • Allow Camera and Microphone Access
  • Join Audio- Audio Settings
  • Lastly, make sure the Headset and Camera icons located in the top left hand corner have a green check next to them.
  • If they do not, click on the icon to allow use of the device.

Audio

I can hear them, but they cannot hear me. What should I do?

  • Click on the headset icon in the top left-hand corner–here you can test your microphone and make sure everything is set up properly.
  • You may also need to check your computer’s sound settings to make sure your microphone is turned on in.
  • If problem persists, call our office at 210-858-7379.

They can hear me, but I cannot hear them. What should I do?

Webcam

I can see them, but they cannot see me. What should I do?

  • Click on the webcam icon in the top left- hand corner–here you can choose which camera to use. Once chosen, press “share camera” and this will allow your camera to be shared.
  • You may also need to check your computer’s sound settings to make sure your microphone is turned on in.
  • If problem persists, call our office at 210-858-7379.

They can see me, but I cannot see them. What should I do?

  • This is a problem on their end. They may need to choose the proper webcam and press “share camera”.

How do I upload documents to present?

Buyers:

  • Press the upload document white button located at the bottom left corner of the document page. (Directly to the right of the web cam windows)
  • Press “Select” to select the file you wish to upload. Once uploaded, press “Show”.
  • From here you can use the various tools located to the right of the document window to highlight or point out important details on the page.
  • Repeat the process to upload a second document.

  • The Buyer will need to switch the “presenter” status over to you. The Buyer needs to click the Presenter button to the left of your company name to do this.
